En af modebranchens allermest prestigefyldte prisuddelinger, WGSN’s Global Fashion Awards, er nu afholdt, og blandt vinderne er nogle af branchens allertungeste navne. Prisuddelingen foregik på Gotham Hall i New York.

Således er H&M tildelt prisen som årets Global Brand or Retailer, mens Topshop kunne løbe med æren for at være i besiddelse af Most Influential Design Team. Også internationale e-tailere som Matchesfashion.com, Net-A-Porter.com og my-wardrobe.com blev hædret. Førstnævnte løb med prisen for at have et Outstanding Brand Mix, mens Net-A-Porter.com fik to priser: både Best Etailer og den prestigefulde SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS Fashion Award. My-wardrobre.com blev til gengæld hædret for deres kundepleje med Outstanding Costumer Experience-prisen. Svenske Acne cementerede sit designfokus og fik prisen som Most Influential Designer, Footwear & Accessories.
