Visual Merchandising & Training Assistant

About the team and the job
You will join an international team of 6 colleagues, who thrive on challenges. We have the overall responsibility for visual merchandising, developing new and creative tools as well as defining service standards and conducting trainings. Consequently, we ensure an inspiring and inviting look and feel in our stores that is in line with VERO MODA’s DNA, presents our products in the best possible way and creates the ultimate shopping experience for our customers.
As Assistant in our Merchandising & Concept Training team, you will be referring to our Merchandising Manager, and your primary responsibility will be to assist with the team’s visual merchandising and training activities.
More specifically, your tasks will include:
- Coordinating materials for store training
- Creating, developing and executing training programmes
- Creating workshops and material for international training events
- Developing content for our digital training platform
- Participating in store openings.
- Retail and visual merchandising experience
- Training and people development skills
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Great communication and presentation skills.
You thrive in a creative and dynamic working environment, where no days are alike. You are self-going and results oriented and you understand that the store experience is key to drive sales. Working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, it is key that you have great time management skills, knowing how to prioritise your tasks to stay within deadlines. Moreover, since this role involves frequently communicating with stakeholders across the organisation, it is key that you are outgoing, positive and skilled at building and developing relations. In relation, you convey your messages in a convincing and comprehensible way both in relation to the training and the visual expression.
