Regional Sales Manager

We are looking for a commercial Regional Sales Manager to maintain and expand our customer portfolio in Jutland and Funen.

Munthe is growing significantly with five yearly collections including a NOS-program with a large market potential, both nationally and internationally.

As part of this growth, Munthe is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Regional Sales Manager to handle current partnerships in Jutland and Funen. and to be part of the future expansion with new customers in this area of Denmark.

You will be part of Munthe's sales team and will report directly to Munthe's Global Sales Director.

Job description & responsibilities

The ideal candidate is flexible in working from one of Munthe two showrooms, one in Aarhus or in Copenhagen, and can attend meetings at the Munthe Head Office at Christianshavn, Copenhagen, while visiting customers on a weekly and monthly basis in their designated regions.

The perfect candidate is self-disciplined and structured when booking in customers, hosting meetings and have a strong ability to build and nurture relationships with customers and internal partners.

The perfect candidate is also expected to win over new customers while nurturing the Munthe Key Accounts, and is skilled in establishing and identifying new potential long-lasting customer partnerships.

The position acquires a profile that is excited to work within the fast-paced fashion industry, and we expect you to have a minimum of five years of experience in working with Key Accounts, sales budgets, visual merchandising and maintaining a customer portfolio.

The role is wide-ranging and holds the responsibility of:

  • Planning and hosting meetings with all regional customers and Key Accounts on Munthes five annual collections plus The Simple Studio collection.
  • Ongoing planning of visits to Key Accounts in Denmark to drive sales initiatives and to reflect performance.
  • Meeting seasonal budgets and selling-in deadlines.
  • Participation in price meetings, sales meetings and EOS-meetings at the Munthe Head Office during the sales season.
  • Assisting in all planning and execution of two annual Sales Kick Off’s and Fashion Shows at the Munthe Head Office.
  • Planning of national in-store events, pop-ups, and showroom activities.
  • Coordination of back-end tasks, such as order preparation, look book send out and send out of general sales material.
  • Identifying potential new business opportunities and meeting all agreements with existing customers.
  • Conducting sales training with staff and other relevant partners on a quarterly basis.

Skills and qualifications

  • You have a minimum of five years of experience in working within the fashion industry and you are curious to learn more.
  • You are a skilled Sales Manager with a proven track record of identifying new potential long-lasting customer-partnerships.
  • You are proactive, motivating, and inspiring when working with internal and external partners, and you thrive in a deadline-driven work environment.
  • You have excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build and nurture relationships with customers and internal partners.
  • You have strong communication and presentation skills.
  • You thrive in a diverse environment with many nationalities and cultures.
  • You are self-disciplined, structured and organized and you set your ambitions high.
  • You are flexible in working hours and are prepared to travel.
  • You have a passion for sustainable products and aspire to contribute to a more responsible fashion industry by taking part in and initiating small changes that will create a more sustainable future.
