Pattern Developer / Designer

Ganni is looking for an experienced pattern developer.

As Pattern developer for RTW Woven categories, you will be part of the RTW Development team at the Ganni HQ office in Copenhagen. We are looking for full-time employment for a period of 10-12 months with a starting date latest 1st of July.

Your mission & responsibilities are ahead of you

  • You will be in charge of the Pattern/Technical operation of selected RTW woven categories from initial design to sales samples arriving. Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
  • Developing products in close collaboration with Senior Designer - securing intended fit and silhouette for prototypes and incoming sales samples.
  • Pattern development when needed and full technical view and management of styles within the assigned product group.
  • Lineplan adherence for the category, managing overdevelopment and working with price brackets.
  • Creating style specs / tech packs, measurement charts and grading in compliance with internal guidelines
  • Ordering and receiving Proto samples, measure and lead fittings together with the designer.
  • Communicate proto amendments to suppliers within the collection deadlines
  • Create, enrich and maintain product master data in ERP/PLM systems as well as supporting documents.
  • Daily communication with Ganni suppliers

The role requires effective collaboration with internal stakeholders from Design, Merchandise and Production Teams as well as a high level of attention to detail and confidence working in a fast-paced, hands-on and creative environment.

Must have requirements

  • Track record and solid experience from a similar role in a contemporary or fashion company
  • Strong pattern making and garment construction skills
  • Education including pattern cutting
  • Excellent digital proficiency, skilled Adobe illustrator user and experience with Centric PLM is a plus but not a necessity
  • Ability to work independently in a creative capacity when required
  • Team approach and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and requests while working in a high pace environment
  • Excellent time management skills
  • An understanding and connection with the Ganni brand aesthetic

The Ganni Way

We are looking for a true Ganni ambassador - someone who shares our values of Openness (ready to evolve, honest not perfect), Optimism (you never stand still, just dance!), Authenticity (you march at your own beat!), Accountability (no excuses, you make an impact) & Responsibility (make small changes, see big differences).

The Ganni culture is based on a learning and results-driven mentality, where everyone is united by a common purpose of (hack)the fashion system!

Ganni is a state of mind - more than a way of dressing and we love to change the usual practice in everything we do. We are confident and capable of anything! So prepare yourself to be comfortable with the uncomfortable and hacking the system together with our amazing Design team!

What else?

The position requires travelling on inspirational trips.

Be bold and join our Ganni community!

We hope you got all your questions answered and feel motivated to join our team and become a part of the Ganni community. If you have more questions regarding the position please contact Product & Collection Development Director Gry Anna Nordensgaard - kindly note that application on email will not be considered

We will be interviewing candidates continuously and kindly ask you to send your application and CV in english as soon as possible.

PLEASE APPLY HERE

We welcome applications from all people regardless of gender identities, sexual orientations, ethnicities, racial identities, religious beliefs, disability statuses and personal expressions. We only want to know why you’re great for this role, so please avoid including your picture, age, and marital status in your CV.
