Aesop seeks a dedicated Counter Manager to oversee our Magasin Du Nord Counter in Copenhagen. The successful applicant will have flexible availability. This is a full-time position and you will be required to work 5 days per week including weekends.
Purpose of the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for, leading a high profile store as well as developing your team, driving sales performance, building the store’s clientele and operating across all areas to deliver excellence. To succeed in this role, you will need to be a skilled professional, able to grace this role with diligence and passion. You will be an experienced Counter Manager, with a proven track record of delivering results and be able to show evidence of how you build internal networks and leverage relationships. You should be passionate, meticulous and motivated in your approach to leading your team.
You will possess a high standard of organisation, time management and commercial capability. You will be responsible to motivate, coach and lead a team of seasoned and new Retail Consultants. An ability to create a unique Aesop experience with core customers will be important, along with creating key relationships with stakeholders and local businesses.
To be successful, you will have:
- 2-4 years of management experience in retail as a Manager.
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive results.
- The confidence to sell products requiring specialist knowledge.
- A willingness to embrace demonstration-based sales techniques.
- Commercial acumen – demonstrated experience in driving business KPI’s, staff planning, inventory etc.
- Excellent communication skills and merchandising abilities – including the capacity to converse warmly and effortlessly with customers.
- Computer literacy encompassing strong familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Deep affinity of the Aesop brand and its value.
- Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed.
