Assistant Store Manager

The assistant store manager must set an example on the sales floor, representing Max Mara and motivate the sales team in order to drive the sales. She will report to the store manager and is responsible for executing the store strategy in practice on the shop-floor on a daily basis to ensure qualitative and quantitate objectives are reached.

Core Responsibilities

  • Be an example on the sales floor
  • Motivate the Staff in order to drive the sales
  • Manage the work schedule for the store
  • Train the staff on how to drive sales through consistent development of product knowledge and customer service standards
  • Keep daily records of store sales scheduling, customer flow and results
  • Support in stockroom strategies in collaboration with store manager
  • Carrie out the store managers tasks in her absence
  • Daily supervise the sales staff during sales ceremony
  • Execute micro training staff product/trends/ digital sales
  • Weekly briefing with manager to share action plan, delegated routine/ tasks, responsibilities and training
  • Assist the store manager in realizing or exceeding determined sales plans and target objectives

Required Skills

  • A minimum of 2-5 years of management experience
  • Danish or Scandinavian and English speaking, additional languages a plus
  • Has a strong sense of leadership and sets an example
  • Is detailed orientated and has strong organization skills
  • Excellent ability to sell and connect with customers in a natural way while setting the standards for the sales team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Able to make decisions even in stressful stations
  • Is effective in the communication towards the sales team and in the communication to the store manager
  • Fully self-motivated and able to motivate the team
  • Flexible and able to adapt and execute new strategies
  • Strong interpersonal skills
