Job Overview:


As the Production and Sourcing Manager at Helmstedt, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the entire production process, from sourcing materials to ensuring the timely delivery of our collections. You will work closely with our CEO and design team to translate creative concepts into high-quality products while upholding our commitment to sustainability and ethical manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Management:
  • Plan and oversee the production schedule for each collection, ensuring timely delivery. Coordinate with factories and suppliers to ensure quality control at every stage of production. Manage the production budget, optimizing costs without compromising quality.
• Sourcing:
  • Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers
  • Source high-quality, sustainable materials that meet the brand’s aesthetic and functional requirements. Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best terms and ensure reliable delivery.
• Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the design team to ensure that the production aligns with creative visions and timelines.
  • Collaborate with logistics and distribution teams to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products.
• Quality Control:
  • Implement and maintain rigorous quality control standards throughout the production process. Address any production issues promptly to minimize disruptions and maintain product quality.
• Sustainability and Compliance:
  • Ensure that all production processes comply with environmental and ethical standards.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to sustainable production and sourcing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Textile Management, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in production and sourcing, preferably in the fashion industry.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
• Great project and stakeholder management skills
• Strong understanding of sustainable production practices and materials.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fluency in English and Danish is a plus.
