Coats and suits and knits - oh my, Aeron!

Gathered in central Copenhagen to enjoy a gallery setting show, surrounded by an installation of ceramic and textile artworks by Hungarian artist Sári Ember, Budapest-based brand Aeron returns this season to Copenhagen Fashion Week for a third visit. While simultaneously revisiting their previous collaborations with visual artists for their AW24 show.
Helmed by Eszter Áron, the curated collection showcases rich plums and chocolates, luxe knits and silks, and contrasted textures on clean silhouettes. The collection gave nods to Eszter’s grandfather, a tailor, and Eszter’s mother, a textile trader, with attention to detail and material, both functional and elegant.
Aeron paired coats, suits, dresses, and knits, with oversized bags and ceramic broches, creating perfectly chic outfits for that ‘Scandi’ vibe and indecisive transitional weather Copenhageners know and love. Models cozied up in deep berry colored wrapped knit shoals, while make up and styling echoed modern day big city woman with an urban coolness. Lead MUA Cianne Denize also went with natural and burgundy lips for edge and a soft glow with a cool toned natural contour to underpin the look.
Stand out pieces like a fuchsia trenchcoat in textured leather brought a pop of color to the more muted palette, while a black knit velvet textured dress reaffirmed how Aeron designs, both knits and suits, leaves space for the body and its movement. The materials and textures are what gives life to Aerons otherwise clean and elegant silhouettes. The creamy soft leathers, the structured knits, and almost fluid silks brings a luxurious and extremely tactile experience.
Eszter Áron’s signature gold A-buttons was also seen embroidered on her knits, and functioned as a discreet logo throughout the collection.
A fully formed clean collection both exclusive yet wearable and undeniably Denmark-approved.
