The team

As a Regional Retail Manager at VERO MODA, you will lead a dynamic team of retail professionals across multiple locations in Scandinavia. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, marketing, and operations, to achieve our brand's vision and ensure a seamless customer experience. Together, we will shape the future of fashion retail.

The role

VERO MODAs retail business is divided into 3 responsibility areas. A quarter of our stores are run by external partners, some are driven locally by entities in the markets, while VERO MODA has full responsibility for appx. 240 stores - or 40% of the portfolio. The own stores for which you will be responsible for full P&L of are based in Denmark and Finland and today counts 75 stores and two Country Retail Managers in direct reference. But for the right candidate there is great opportunities for increasing scope of markets and stores.

In this pivotal role, your area of responsibility includes:

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to our retail teams across markets, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring consistent implementation of brand standards.
• Create and implement the retail country and regional strategy.
• Strengthen the product and buying strategy and focus.
• Increase sales performance through data-driven insights and market analysis.
• Ensure a cohesive consumer experience across markets with a customer first approach.
• Continuously optimize the store portfolio, aligning with the country and regional strategy.
• Focus on operational excellence, streamlining processes and ensuring alignment across all markets.
• Analyse and work with P&Ls, incorporating learnings and optimizing cost lines, such as productivity through staff hour planning.

Your profile

To excel in this role, you bring a proven track record of results within retail. You also know from experience that dealing with fashion products and buying adds an extra layer of complexity to driving a successful retail business.

More specifically the ideal candidate brings:

• Profound knowledge of the fashion industry and product lifecycle is a must.
• Solid experience from a retail management position holding P&L responsibility for stores across several Scandinavian markets.
• Proven success in driving sales growth, improving profitability, and achieving targets.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Location: The role is based at VERO MODA’s head office in Aarhus, Denmark to be close to the Retail Team and the VERO MODA organisation.

Travel: We expect appx. 40 – 50 annual travel days to visit our stores in your region.
