AWARE is run by a small team of enthusiasts driven by creating feminine and contemporary fashion – with a focus on flattering fits, lasting quality, and timeless expression. Today, this counts five colleagues in Buying and design who all eagerly await your arrival and are ready to support you in your onboarding to the AWARE universe. In addition to that, we now have a small but dedicated sales team focused on bringing AWARE to the global market.

Make our collections yours 

Taking the point of departure in AWARE’s brand DNA, you will hold the overall responsibility for the composition and design process behind our six annual collections. You collaborate closely with the other Designer in team with whom you determine design, colour, style and details. You are hands-on in the entire design process – from idea creation and initial sketches to communicating with suppliers regarding fitting. Your responsibilities include:

• Ensuring that our styles are always aligned with AWARE’s brand DNA
• Preparing collection material for suppliers, Sales and Marketing
• Starting up style sheets, fitting, approvals, overviews etc.

You live and breathe fashion – your creativity and curiosity are an unstoppable force of nature, that you can’t switch off. Trend inspiration is not only part of your job, but also your hobby – which also naturally comes to show in your own personal style. You set ambitions high but collaboration higher and therefore have a natural way of contributing to the positive and energetic atmosphere in the team.

Besides this, we also expect that you bring:

• Minimum 6 years of working experience with female fashion
• Relevant education within Design
• International design experience in meeting the European market demands
• Excellent collection presentation skills
• Experienced user of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Solid English skills, written and spoken - Danish skills is an additional advantage
