At VILA, we are looking for a Retail Sales Coordinator to join our team. You do not only have a great drive, but also the willingness to go the extra mile for achieving your goals. This is a great opportunity to work with our own stores and external partners in our markets across Europe.
You will become part of an ambitious and focused Retail Team. Our highest priority is to ensure that our own stores and external partners across our European markets are experiencing the highest service level, best product package and a deeper understanding of their business. At the moment, we are present in Denmark, Iceland, the Faroe Islands, Sweden, The Netherlands, Norway, Finland, and Ireland. You will have a chance to become part of a Retail Team that works in a fast-paced environment, where we believe that we achieve our success together as a team.
As our Retail Sales Coordinator your primary responsibility is to service our own stores and external partners. Through close dialogue and daily feedback from stakeholders in Retail Buying, Buying and our local sales departments, you ensure that our VILA stores are supported in relation to order handling, follow-ups on the product flow, preparation of statistics, etc.
The job also includes servicing our Retail Buyers in the markets, and work in close collaboration with the Retail Sales Manager. At all times, you ensure that any partner or stakeholder feels confident in their cooperation with VILA. Furthermore, your work includes:
- Sharing key sales data to ensure the best available market knowledge.
- Handling claims and returns.
- Following up and checking that all orders are placed correctly with the right quantities.
- Assisting and preparing showroom to Retail buying meetings on site at our different European markets.
- Placing sales orders and ensuring that all deadlines are fulfilled.
- Creating weekly product send outs and sales materials.
You thrive in an administrative role that will challenge your ability to create structure and take responsibility - so it is important that you are not afraid to take initiative. You have a high service mindset, and it comes naturally to you to give your extra contribution, if there is a need from the business. You must be a coordinator, that ensures that both the team as well as our own stores and partners deliver the best possible result. Since you will be working closely with both internal and external stakeholders, it is very important that you have an interest in building relations and trust.
- Experience from a similar position within sales and sales support coordination.
- Knowledge of the fashion and retail industry is an advantage.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office – most importantly Excel.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
- Expect 10-20 travel days a year.
