Product Engineer - RTW

Do you care about cutlines, find fit interesting, and are you ready to rotate a chest dart or two? Does it make your eye twitch when something just doesn't fit right? Then do not hesitate to apply for this rare opportunity.

Your mission & responsibilities ahead of you:

As a product engineer in the ready-to-wear team, you will be part of the larger production department, and work closely with the product developers and designers. You will be responsible for the fit and size of your designated product groups, from setups to production. It begins with creating solid tech packs, sewing mock-ups, and creating technical detail drawings when needed, to ensure the best possible proto sample. You will fit all samples multiple times on our fitting models, sometimes in different sizes to make sure they both look and feel good when worn.

While pattern making and fitting are your passions, you know that there are many other important aspects of working in a production team, such as creating and maintaining Product Master Data in our ERP/PDM system and measuring samples.

Must have requirements:

  • 3-5 years of pattern making or fitting experience within high-end fashion or active wear
  • Skills within both woven and knitted products
  • Strong communication skills and a high level of both verbal and written English
  • A healthy respect for deadlines and timelines
  • Experience with CLO3D is preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Navision is an advantage

The GANNI way:

You are a true team player and will be happy to share your thoughts and experiences with the rest of the team. We work in a solution-oriented way, taking ownership over our products, in order to create the best possible clothes for our customers. And we do it all while having fun and laughing with each other every day.

We are looking for a true GANNI ambassador - someone who shares our values of Openness (ready to evolve, honest not perfect), Optimism (you never stand still, just dance!), Authenticity (you march at your own beat!), Accountability (no excuses, you make an impact) & Responsibility (make small changes, see big differences).

The GANNI culture is based on a learning and results-driven mentality, where everyone is united by a common purpose of (hack)the fashion system!

GANNI is a state of mind - more than a way of dressing and we love to change the usual practice in everything we do. We are confident and capable of anything! So prepare yourself to be comfortable with the uncomfortable and hacking the system together with our amazing product engineering team!

What else?

You will be working out of the Copenhagen HQ. Travel to our suppliers in Europe or the Far East 1-2 times a year is a possibility, but not guaranteed.

Be bold and join our GANNI community!

We hope you got all your questions answered and feel motivated to join our team and become a part of the GANNI community. If you have more questions regarding the position please contact Louise Bistrup Strøm, Head of Product Engineering RTW at louise.stroem@ganni.com

We will be interviewing candidates continuously and kindly ask you to send your application and CV as soon as possible.

More GANNI goodies:

You will be working out of our unique GANNI house located in the beautiful City Center of Copenhagen on top of the Bremerholm flagship store. Besides our amazing and colorful new office facilities, we are also proud of our in-house GANNI kitchen which offers healthy and sustainable food cooked by our passionate in-house chef.
