The team & department:
You will join BESTSELLER’s 3D team as a part of the Global Sourcing department. We are a dedicated and global team with 13 colleagues working within different areas of 3D expertise. We facilitate, train, and implement 3D operations and processes across BESTSELLER. This is done by working closely with our amazing brands, suppliers, and global offices – all by supporting and ensuring high-quality standards within BESTSELLER's 3D initiatives.
As a Pattern Maker in the 3D team, there is plenty of opportunities to learn and develop your skills as we have internal 3D-certified training in CLO3D to help you get started. What you bring, is your knowledge and experience from the fashion industry, pattern making, and a passion and curiosity about 3D. You will be involved in a wide range of projects within 3D product development, fitting standards, and qualities.
More specifically your responsibilities and tasks include:
- Developing master patterns and standard libraries
- Integrating 3D workflows into our existing operational processes
- Instructing, adjusting, and commenting on 3D fit, look, and quality in collaboration with designers and patterns designers in the team but also across brands
- Ensuring an efficient and collaborating relation with the brands, suppliers, and global offices
You are structured and organized in your work. You continuously deliver quality in your work, including when under time pressure. You are curious about the potential 3D holds for a more digitized pattern design flow. You like to work in teams and taking initiative is inherent in you – also regarding knowledge sharing and contributing to the positive atmosphere in the team. You are an outgoing person who wants to be part of a creative and innovative department.
- Educational background in garment pattern making
- Min. 2 years of working experience in the fashion industry
- Solid understanding of fitting and quality assurance processes
- Experienced user of 2D CAD systems such as GERBER, LECTRA, ASSYST
- Excellent level of English skills, both written and spoken
