mfpen is looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead our manufacturing activities and ensure an efficient and cost-effective production process with suppliers.

The ideal candidate has experience in maintaining the production process, a well developed understanding of garments and knowledge of sourcing. This is a key position within the company, thus being highly organised with abilities to ensure deadline compliance is an absolute must.

We consist of a small but strong team of passionate individuals, working from our beautiful office in central Copenhagen with views of Strøget. We care about the good office atmosphere, eating lunch together and regularly having social dinners.

Tasks include (but not limited to):

• Production coordination: sample follow up from SMS to shipment approval, in collaboration with the design team
• Negotiate price, quality, MOQ and delivery schedules with suppliers
• Highest quality assurance: managing the QC process
• Ensuring pricing and calculation accuracy
• Responsible for the orders and logistics with sampling and bulk fabrics
• Daily follow-up on sample and production deliveries according to deadlines
• Ensure all samples are correct according to specifications
• Supplier visits
• Establish and maintain relationships with fabric-, trim- and manufacturing suppliers
• Source fabrics, yarns and trims in collaboration with the design team
• Plan and execute SMS, PPS and shipment sample fittings, working proactively on details and quality
• Managing our deadstock library to ensure availability is accurate
• Create products, barcodes and production orders in Traede

In addition to role specific responsibilities, all members of staff are expected to assist with e-com and campaign shoots, help with events and be part of creative energy in the studio.

Profile and qualifications:

• Based in Copenhagen or willing to relocate at own expense
  
• Preferred 3 years experience from similar role
• Relevant education is an advantage
• Highly organised, structured and proactive in task follow-up
• Ability to advise technical solutions for fitting and making
• In-depth knowledge of fabric types, trims and textile- and garment manufacturing processes
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken (Danish is not a requirement)
• Knowledge of ERP solution platform (Traede, Joor, Spy etc), Traede is considered a plus.
