Design & Production Intern

HVISK is a Danish fashion brand founded in Copenhagen. The brand is inspired by the vibrant streets of Copenhagen with an ambition of designing bags creating the feeling of a playful, colorful, or detail-oriented look that will give the individual a more personal style.

We are currently looking for a passionate and skilled Design & Production Intern in Copenhagen at an exciting time of growth.

As a Design & Production Intern, you will be part of our small and ambitious design & production team where you will be involved in the day-to-day operations with the opportunity for professional and personal development. We are always responsive to new ideas and your input will play a role at HVISK.

Your tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting our Head of Design in creating detailed tech packs and specs. Sheets for our suppliers in Adobe Illustrator.
  • Updating and maintaining collection overviews
  • Review all incoming samples and assist in providing feedback to our suppliers together with the team
  • Assist in creating and maintaining material and trim archive
  • Assist in updating and maintaining product-related information in SPY systems
  • Day-to-day tasks that relate to the operations of a company with a start-up mentality. This includes helping across departments, assisting with keeping our sample room neat and tidy, and other ad-hoc related tasks.

The ideal candidate:

  • Graduated or currently studying a degree in either fashion or accessory Design and/or production/sourcing
  • Motivated to be a part of a team and develop professional and personal skills
  • Have great skills in Adobe Illustrator
  • Experience with SPY systems or other EAR systems is appreciated but not a requirement
  • Has strong attention to detail
  • Structured, work independently, and shows responsibility for your work tasks

The internship is unpaid. Ideally, you will be able to stay over the course of at least 6 months. The course is an opportunity to supplement your education and resumé with relevant experience within your subject and gain insight into the fashion industry.
